weheartit-How I Plan To Adult:
Hey Guys,
On spiritual level, I believe that being/becoming an adult should be a top priority to help you become the person that you should be. If you scroll down below, you will see the steps that I am focusing on, to help me become more of an adult and slowly become less dependent on others.
I'm at the age where I want to take charge of my own life and make the changes that I have been yearning to take.
I want to step into the real me and own it!
Become Responsible:
I want to aim to become less dependent on others and more dependent on God. I want to build a closer relationship with him and soak in his presence! I believe God wants us to grow into our greatest selves and I can do this with him and through him <3 God is growth
- Your actions shape your personality. You choose whether to be lazy/get up early everyday. You prove to yourself that you can be, in fact, accountable for your actions.
"The ability to understand yourself, your actions, how your actions affect others, and what is socially acceptable all go into the responsible decision-making process."
What Are You Responsible For?
- My sleep.
- My health.
- My unemployment status.
- Where I live.
- Having a clean room.
- Getting my weekly food shop.
- Paying in my bank cheque.
- My career.
- Wash the dishes when everyone is out.
- Receive the parcels.
- Put the laundry on the line.
- Open the door if family member does not have a key.
- To be there for them.
- Listen to them.
- Be a positive support for them.
- I need to acknowledge that I am responsible for my own grieving! I must process my thoughts and my feelings and get the necessary support that I need!
- So you can apply to jobs in your free time and also improve your employ-ability.
- So I can contribute towards bills and gain a bit of independence.
- I want to accept life for what is and focus on the things that I want to grow in my life and keep working towards what I want in my future- long-term.

- How to change a light bulb.
- How to keep track of interest rates.
- How to follow a recipe.
- It would be amazing to maintain positive relationships with family and friends. I can learn a lot through the experiences I have with my friends as it will help me to connect with the people who represent/ appreciate me for who I am. It will also help me to learn more about myself as a person too.
- I'm not surrounded by positive, healthy relationships and I believe that this can affect my self-esteem and my positive energy.
